Midlife Health Care for Women

Many women reach midlife and feel like something has shifted.

The strategies that once worked such as pushing through, staying busy, and relying on discipline no longer feel effective.

Instead, you may notice:

fatigue and burnout

weight gain despite effort

poor sleep

irritability or emotional reactivity

increased stress sensitivity

Often, there is a pattern underneath:

using stress and urgency as motivation

overriding sleep and hunger cues

suppressing or internalizing emotions

Earlier in life, estrogen-supported dopamine often helped compensate.

In midlife, that buffering changes.

This is not a lack of willpower. It reflects a physiological and neurological shift.

My Approach

Care is evidence-based, structured, and individualized.

Symptoms are considered in the context of:

physiology and hormonal stage

stress load and nervous system regulation

work and life demands

relationships and psychological patterns

As both a Nurse Practitioner and Psychotherapist specializing in ADHD, trauma, and relationships, I integrate medical and psychological care when relevant

The focus is practical:

clear understanding of what is happening

targeted, realistic interventions

steady, sustainable improvement over time

Care may include:

metabolic and lifestyle optimization

sleep support

stress regulation and nervous system stabilization

menopausal hormone therapy

medical weight management including GLP-1 therapy
